Our Company
McCormacks Australia is an industry leader in structural hardwood products, with innovation at the heart of its strategy for the future.
As an innovator, it was important to go through a review of the entire business, and that’s what we’ve spent the past few months doing. The team spent time reflecting on why they work at McCormacks; what they love, and what we needed to change. It became clear that diversification needed to be at the heart of our strategy moving forward, but we didn’t want to lose sight of our heritage either. We had lots of fun while working and realised that this was also key to our success because if we have fun at work, it doesn’t feel like we’re working at all.
Our three pillars were born out of our strategy sessions - Beautiful. Functional. Sustainable. These underpin how we make decisions on new products. Beautiful is for inspiration, Functional is for products that do what they promise, and Sustainable is the product life cycle and also how we do business.
We also worked on our five core values with the team unanimously agreeing on Respect, Trust, Working together, Loyalty, and Fun! These are the values that we live by but also how we hold each other accountable.
Lastly, we overhauled our logo with a fresh new look, we hope you can see the heritage and trust we’ve built the business on, but also the promise of the future and what’s to come.

Heritage
McCormacks Australia has been sourcing the most beautiful timber in Victoria for two decades. From humble beginnings in a small factory in Clayton in 2001, McCormacks Hardwood Sales quickly became the trusted supplier to BB Truss, MB Prefab, Owens Truss and BBC Hardwarehouse (now Bunnings).
Owners, Phil and Jane, often reflect on these relationships that supported them in their growth phase and who have continued to support McCormacks as long-standing customers.
McCormacks remains a family business with a close-knit team that has always been hands-on and willing to perform various roles to get the job done.
Twenty years strong, the McCormacks name is a trusted partner in the building industry with a team that continues to instill their family values of trust and respect to serve their customers.
